Costumer Reviews

I bought this 'copter for a novelty inexpensive experiment. I was amazed at how good it is, for a novice like me to be able to set up, fly and control a flying machine like this then it must be good. My only gripe is the length of time flying. it takes about an hour to charge up and only 5-6 mins of actual flying time. This is a brilliant little machine that gives immense pleasure. I will be graduating to a larger model because of this fantastic flying great toy(?) It is very durable and after many crashes it still flies as new. I should have had one ages ago! It's the best to gain that experience needed to fly the bigger models.

It gets very addictive and I can't wait for it to be re-charged. Roll on Xmas to see what Santa brings.

I have had this for four days now and have been using it non stop from 9 a.m. till 7.30 p.m. every day on a constant fly/charge cycle. I have only used it to charge on USB and that takes around an hour from a standard USB computer port, but only takes 25 minutes on a higher amperage USB charger, BUT the (very) brief manual makes no reference to this so have stop using it and recommend you do not wither to make the battery last as long as possible. I Have not used the charging from the controller function as previous experience with other micro heli's means that the handset would normally eat batteries. The USB cable glows red when it's charged, a fantastic feature enabling a quick glance to see when it's done.

Timed flights are averaging just over seven minutes on a continuous flight, but you get more time if you are playing landing take/off (or just crashing). The heli is nicely made, the blades seem quite durable not brittle, and are cheap and easy to replace. Flying this is the easiest heli I have ever used, the gyro makes it so stable in flight that it stops exactly where you point it and unlike other heli's the rotation trim is controlled with a nice easy knob in the centre rather than having to push button whilst you are trying to fly, much better design. the forward backward trim is easily adjusted with two should mount buttons that are so easy to use in flight. There is a flashing RGB (Red Green Blue) light on the bottom towards the rear of the heli that all the family like, there is also a faint amber light to indicate when the gyro is stabilised, it stops flashing once it has detected a stable position.

This thing is so much fun to fly, it goes almost exactly where I want it to and have flown it all round the living room and into the kitchen and back through the arched doorway (whilst I am still in the living room!) many times. just remember to keep it in sight as it is infra-red control so needs a line of sight.

I have hit the ceiling with it many times, hit the walls hit the furniture and even hit myself a couple of times (I think they call that pilot error Lol!) and the blades are just starting to show a few marks on them. and twice it has hit the celing and plummeted all the way the the floor (carpet) and still flies perfect.

I'm Sorry is this is long winded, but just wanted to share the fun we have had with this brilliant little copter.
