James is 7 and interested in cars. The original idea was to get him Disney Pixar cars but this seemed a bit tame.

The Spinout Track Set was a little hard to assemble but proved to be the biggest hit on his birthday above all the more expensive presents and has since been a hit with all his friends.

I have had previous bad experiences in buying car "action" toys, and was concerned that it looked to complicated to stay put together and work for any length of time.

It needed an adult to put it together, but once made, my 5 year old could get it to work each time, and had great fun with it.

It comes with yet another lightening McQueen we now have 5), and you need a second car to make this work.
