Our five year old grand-daughter has great fun manoeuvering her Barbie doll and car around the family pets, family, furniture and friends. It is teaching her hand and eye co-ordination and spacial awareness. Great fun for all the family too, especially daddy, papa and uncle(s). Mummy, Nana and Aunties need to practice more - if we can get hold of the control!
I was disappointed in two Mattel Barbie products this year ... this being one of them. You can't really steer the car. my daughter didn't seem to mind but i didn't care for the missing feature. she has to either pick it up or kick it to turn in. it angle's a little when in reverse mode only. talk about needing patience for that slow turn! not what my 5 year old has for sure!
over all it's a great cool toy...just missing a key feature. and for the hefty price it should be included!
