Customer Reviews

I bought one of these after my brother in law had one and its true it flies absolutely brilliantly.
One big problem, the older versions used to charge the heli with a mains adaptor. Mine arrived with a charging lead off the controller, so the 6xAA batteries are used to charge the heli AND power the controller. The result? IT EATS BATTERIES!
I presume the deletion of the mains adaptor was a cost saving measure, but I'd rather pay a fiver more for the mains adaptor as you'll be spending way more than that on batteries.
I've soldered a battery clip onto the controller and use a rechargeable 9v battery instead to power the whole thing. Still not ideal but its now usable and doesnt have running costs similar to a full size heli!
Beware of this
Overall though it is really great fun once its flying, superbly stable and really controllable.
Mike

It is totally stable, easy to learn to fly, and looks just like the real thing. This is my 4th toy helicopter, all the others were very difficult to fly and didn't steer or control properly. This one (I suspect because of the twin double rotors), is just perfect. I can land it anywhere within 10 inches of the planned landing spot.
