This item was purchased for a 2 and a half year old which is quite suitable just press the top of the roof and it makes different noises.
My 1 yr old loves this car. I thought that he would not be able to know how to press the button at the top to hear the different phrases, but he does and plays with it everyday. All I hear is "groom, groom". Love it!
