Customer Reviews
I bought this to help my three year old son stay in bed until it is time to wake up. He is a fan of the Cars movies so this was the right clock for him - he does not get out of bed until the light goes out. The only drawback is that it runs on batteries rather than on mains. It takes 4 AA batteries (one for the clock and three for the light). I would recommend this to others.
This clock is too bright when lit up with the night scene, twice the size you would expect and as the night scene shines through the day scene, when its time to get up the clock face actually goes dark! Not good in a dark room in the winter!
Also, as it is based on a standard clock the illuminated night scene turns off every time the clock hands pass over the set time. As most children sleep twelve hours, this means if your child goes to bed at 7 and you want them to get up at 7, you will have to go in and reset it after they've gone to bed. The only good feature of this clock is that the light and the clock have separate batteries.
