Product Description
As if piloting remote control helicopters wasn't fun enough, this 3-channel military-inspired number comes with a built-in missile launcher too! Complete with a super-bright LED and two missile launchers on its nose section, the Launching Missile Helicopter really looks the part. Not only that, it's fitted with a gyroscopic stabiliser, making it super stable and really easy to manoeuvre - ideal for when you're taking aim and blasting those targets! Talking of targets, the helicopter comes with two cardboard cut-outs of tanks - perfect for practising your precision control. Another feature worth mentioning is the trim function; it allows you to prevent the helicopter drifting too far to the right or left, ensuring directional control is maintained at all times. Plus, with its tri-band transmitter, you can operate up to three helicopters in the same vicinity - perfect if your mate's got another missile launcher and you want to go into battle! To charge the helicopter, simply use the USB cable provided or attach the helicopter to the battery powered remote control.
Feel like a real pilot with the brilliant, easily controlled Gyro Stealth Attack Remote Control Helicopter. It is fitted with a trim function to stop the helicopter spiralling out of control by drifting too far left or right and the Gyro technology within it gives it extra stability as you roam the skies. So what is the Gyro and how does it make a difference? The Gyro is a small device fitted to the helicopter that detects any yaw (left or right swinging) movement of the helicopter and automatically sends a command to the tail rotorto correct and stop/limit the yaw movement. In other words, it provides greater stability than those helicopters not fitted with the Gyro. This amazing technology means you can throw your helicopter around to your hearts content without fear of it easily breaking or losing control. It even has a tri-band transmitter so you can control it in the vicinity of two other remote controlled helicopters which is perfect for you and your friends to go to war! It comes with a powerful LED fitting on the nose of the helicopter, allowing you to see where you are firing from the two missile launchers fitted on either side of its nose, even in the dark. Plus it includes six missiles for you to do battle with and two cardboard cut-outs of tank for authentic aiming practice! One charge of the helicopter will last for around thirty minutes; to recharge simply attach the helicopter it to the controller via the USB lead provided. 3 channel with built-in gyro Six missiles included Powerful LED on nose Two missile launchers, one either side of the nose section Two cardboard cut-outs of tanks provided for target practice Full charge time: Approx 30 minutes Controller requires 6 x AA batteries (not included)

Customer Reviews
My brother and I each received one for Christmas. We spent the majority of Christmas Day and Boxing Day honing our skills. Initial crashes (some pretty major) didn't result in a deterioration in performance, all that needed to be done was for the trim to be reset. Very responsive model so once the controls have been mastered you can be very precise with your flying and shooting. The one negative I would highlight is that the missiles that can be fired are not powerful enough to knock another helicopter out of the air. This isn't very realistic as I have watched films and when they shoot helicopters in the film they usually blow up and if not, definitely fall out of the air as shown at 0.47 in this film [...]
After reading some of the reviews regarding the many available remote controlled helicopters, I was unsure of which to purchase but I must say I am very happy with this product. Although one of the small chain links was missing between the balance bar and rotor blade when it was delivered, it does not impact the on the stability at all.
It has produced hours of fun for my 7 year old son and because of the stability, he has found it easy to control.
The instructions are poorly translated english, although as a typical man, I looked at them after trying to fly the helicopter.
The LED on the front of the helipcopter must be stable and not flashing and once stable you must push the 'power' lever fully forwards and back to get the LED on the controller to stop flashing. At this point you can fly the helicopter.
Again because of some of the reviews, I was concerned about the battery life, but you will easily get 15 - 20 minutes flying time and because of the USB charger, pop it into the Xbox and 30 minutes later your back trying to shoot decorations off the Christmas tree. It also seems very robust, after making to obvious mistakes of throttling too much and hitting the ceiling fan or releasing too fast and crashing into the floor, it still handles perfectly.
I am now looking to buy one for the lads in our office.
